Visual energy is its own dial, on y and u. The arrow keys move speed; y and u move how hard the music pushes the visuals. Calming the motion no longer drains the colour with it.
The timeline counts bars. Above the amplitude shape sits the song's own phrase grid — about fifteen countable segments instead of a shimmering fence of beat ticks. Amplitude gives you the shape, bars give you the landmarks.
Dance Party raises the Groove to Disco for its run, and puts your setting back when it ends.
Genre recognition reads a rolling 30-second window and reports what it is hearing.
Silence stops driving the visuals, and the colour and rotation directors now run in the shipped app rather than in development builds only.
