FAQ
- How do I enable audio reactivity on Apple TV?
- PsychoDeli+ uses your iPhone as a microphone via Apple's Continuity Camera. Make sure your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, signed into the same Apple ID, and has Bluetooth enabled. The app will prompt for camera permission on first launch — this is used solely for audio input, not video.
- The visuals are running but not reacting to music.
- Check that microphone/camera permission is granted in Settings → Privacy on your Apple TV. On the web version, click the audio enable button and allow microphone access when prompted by your browser.
- How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
- Open the app and navigate to the audio panel. Tap "Restore Purchases." Your unlock is tied to your Apple ID and will restore on any device signed into the same account.
- What does "Unlock All" include?
- The one-time purchase unlocks all premium visual signatures, audio-reactive effects, wave modes, and live audio metering. Free users get a generous set of signatures and visuals — the unlock adds the full creative palette.
- Does the app record or transmit my audio?
- No. Audio is analyzed on-device in real time for frequency content (bass, mids, highs, beat detection). Buffers are immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. See our privacy policy for details.
- The app crashed or is showing a black screen.
- Try force-quitting and relaunching. If the issue persists, email us at psychodeli_app@gmail.com with your device model and tvOS/macOS version.
