Play music in the room and connect a nearby iPhone or iPad as Apple TV’s microphone. The picture follows what it hears, and there is nothing to install on the phone.

How it listens
Play music through speakers and enable the microphone. Psychodeli listens to the room and draws the picture live. A turntable, a band, your favorite album—if the microphone can hear it, it has something to follow.
Built-in speakers, a soundbar or a nearby sound system. Keep the music within reach of the microphone.
The picture keeps moving, but music only in your ears won’t reach the microphone.
On Apple TV, a nearby iPhone or iPad does the listening, so keep the music within earshot of the phone.
